HOW TO: NEW, FASTER, SAFER, iPHONE VIRTUAL MEMORY MOD FOR YOUR …

Hey youtube this video will show you an alternative way of increasing your memory for you iphone and ipod touch. Apple has a built in VM Manager that is not enabled.
All you have to do to enable is is follow the directions below.

1) Download this: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0xenof
and save to your desktop

2) Uninstall any previous VM Mod on your device.

3) SSH into your device (how to ssh:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRfTDg3K17o)

4) Navigate to /System/Library/LaunchDaemons

5) Drag and drop the file you just downloaded into the LaunchDaemons folder

6) Reboot and enjoy!

As I mentioned in the video, the Nokia n900 uses this same kind of process. It has 256 Mb of RAM and a 1 gb swapfile (virtual memory)
